Leonardo Amaral, 6, began studying piano at the age of 4 under the tutelage of Dr. Ramilya Saubanova. He performed his debut recital at age 5 performing solo and in duet with his sister. At the age of 6 he competed in his first piano competition where he was the youngest competitor in his division of 9 and under and received an Honorable Mention. Leonardo currently studies with DMA candidate Timothy Krippner.
