Emily Wu, cello

Emily Wu, born in Taipei, Taiwan in 2002, began studying cello at age 6. She currently studies with Amit Peled at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. She won the Taiwan National Music Competition twice consecutively in 2017 and 2019. Her recent performances include an invitation to perform at the Chimei Foundation to showcase the 1566 Andrea Amati cello, and her solo recital debut at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.
