Dr. Ramilya Saubanova is the Creative Director and co-founder of the Baltimore Union Square Soirée salon concert series. This unique initiative brings together emerging and established artists to create intimate, memorable musical experiences that connect talent with the community. With over 22 years of experience as a pianist, Ramilya has performed across Russia, Europe, and the U.S., including prestigious venues such as the Sverdlovsk Philarmonic, Astrakhan Opera and Ballet Theatre, Saydashev State Great Hall, the Russian and Brazilian Embassies in Washington, D.C., and collaborations with renowned orchestras.

Beyond her work with the Soirée, she founded the Tatar Music Concert Series in the U.S., blending music, history, and art to offer one-of-a-kind cultural experiences. A passionate educator, she also gives master classes and continues to mentor young musicians. Her debut solo CD will be released in 2025, featuring works by Latchford, Crozier, Medtner, and Brahms.

Ramilya holds Specialist degree, Master’s and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Kazan State Conservatory and the Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins University. When she’s not at the piano or organizing concerts, she enjoys spending time in nature and reading books.
